In one picture you can see a large commercial water heater that was installed in a club house here in Naples by Mr. Summers. This water heater took 4 men to lift up and into an emergency drain pan.
Another water heater you can see a lot of polybutylene pipe running wild and no pan under the heater.
This is very common in trailers or modular homes and has great potential for floor damage if the heater leaks. We eliminated much of the confusion in that space and installed a new shut off valve and pan with a drain to the outside.
One more picture shows how we brought out from behind the water heater two shutoff valves. One valve for the main water and the other for the water heater. We did this for the customer while replacing the heater.
